

Spring Development Training begins the week of March 24th. The program consists of 8 sessions, is once per week for 1 hour and includes a Development Training Program t-shirt. All sessions are co-ed, and run on the indoor field at Budd Park.

The Development Training Program is designed to support athletes in building strong technical foundations through age-appropriate, structured learning. Training focuses on core soccer skills including dribbling, passing, receiving, turning, shooting, attacking, defending, and understanding possession. Sessions are designed to complement team training and provide additional opportunities for individual skill development.
The program is delivered in consistent 8-week training blocks. By design, both the themes covered across each block and the activities used within each session remain similar. This approach allows athletes to learn through repetition, while instructors gradually increase expectations, complexity, and execution standards over time.
Athletes are encouraged to participate in multiple 8-week sessions. Continued participation supports long-term skill development by reinforcing fundamentals and building confidence in game-related situations.
Development Training is open to athletes of varying experience levels and is focused on creating a positive, structured environment that promotes individual improvement and enjoyment of the game.
