About Us

At our club, we believe every child deserves a place to play, grow, and belong.

Our story began in 1967 and is built on a simple idea: soccer should be for everyone. Whether your child is stepping onto the field for the very first time or dreaming of playing at a competitive level, we offer programs designed to meet them where they are. Kitchener SC is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization governed by a Board of Directors and managed by an administrative team. Today there are over 6,000+ registered soccer players in Kitchener, with an extended community of over 25,000 local enthusiasts. We're committed to providing accessible, affordable and high quality soccer programs in a safe, professional, and respectful environment.

We’re more than just a soccer club, we’re a community that values development, teamwork, and a love of the game. No matter your child’s experience or ability, you’ll find a supportive environment, dedicated coaches, and a place to call home.

No experience? No problem. Big goals? We’ve got you covered. There’s a place for you here.

Our Mission “To build better people through soccer.”

We believe we have the power to initiate change through our soccer programs. By instilling the values associated with Development, Leadership, Success and Performance and most importantly the Golden Rule, we can help young people live healthy active lives and nurture a life-long passion for soccer.

Competitive Program

For those looking to compete at a higher level, our competitive teams offer a structured, development-focused training environment designed to help players reach their full potential. As an official affiliate of Toronto FC, our Academy and Rep teams compete under the Kitchener TFC crest. We’re proud to provide a pathway that connects our athletes to one of the top professional soccer organizations in the country, while still keeping player growth, learning, and long-term development at the heart of everything we do.

House League Program

Our house league is all about fun, friendships, and falling in love with the game. It’s the perfect environment for players of all skill levels to learn and play. Here, kids build confidence, make new friends, and develop their skills through positive experiences that keep them excited to return week after week. We run both outdoor and indoor recreational seasons.

All Abilities

Kitchener Unity is a non-competitive, personal goals-focused sport and socialization program for children or teens who need an alternative to the traditional recreational soccer experience. Our inclusion definition covers developmental delays, social struggles, mental health conditions and intellectual exceptionalities. This program is for athletes considered low-support, defined as participants that do not require one-to-one support on the field.

Soccer Training

Our training philosophy puts player development first at every stage. Through our Development Training and Game Changers programs, players build technical skills, game awareness, and confidence in a structured, supportive environment. Each session is designed to challenge, inspire, and fuel a love for the game.

Built to accelerate growth and sharpen decision-making, our training helps players reach their full potential through game-realistic scenarios. Game Changers, our first-of-its-kind program for girls, offers athletes ages 7–16 a high-energy space to develop skills, build confidence, and be part of a community that celebrates female athletes.

Our Commitment to Success

Kitchener SC and Kitchener TFC have identified 7 key pillars as the basis for building a strong, reputable Club with an emphasis on coaching and mentoring each individual child to be the best athlete and person he or she can be. These 7 pillars are reviewed annually to ensure the Club remains true to its mission and mandate, and focused on improvement.

The 7 pillars are:

  1. Player Development
  2. Coach Development
  3. Referee Development
  4. Administrative Effectiveness
  5. Quality of Facilities & Capacity Planning
  6. Relationships/Funding
  7. Community Involvement
