Volunteer

We need volunteers for all age divisions from Parent & Tot through our U16/18 teams!

Did you know that all Kitchener SC House League coaches are volunteers, and no formal soccer or coaching experience is necessary? All that is required to get involved is a positive attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!  Volunteering is a terrific way to get involved in soccer, while at the same time supporting your club and your community. Plus head coaches receive a $20 credit on their account to use for future seasons! Credits for serving as a head coach will be issued once 75% of the season is complete.

As a volunteer at Kitchener SC you're provided with support that will ensure that you, along with your team, have a soccer season that is both fun and successful! Kitchener SC is proud to provide a free Coach Education Workshop, communication templates and valuable resources to ensure your coaching experience is as enjoyable as possible. 

Student Volunteers

Are you a high school student looking for volunteer hours? We can help with that! We allow students to volunteer as head coaches for our Active Start program or assistant coaches for our older age athletes. Have a friend you want to coach with? Let us know and you can coach together! Earn between 8-40 hours over the course of the season depending on what division you coach. The season runs from the end of May through mid-August.

To volunteer, follow these steps:

  • Visit www.kitchenersc.powerupsports.com to sign up to coach 
  • Log in or sign up
  • Once an account has been created, or you are logged in select 'Volunteer Now'
  • Select 'Coach Application' for the correct season. 

*Head Coaches must be the main account holder to access coaching tools in PowerUp*
